By now we are all familiar with the terms Activation and Mitigation.
When we Activate a sector of the home, our goal is to enhance the star's energy visiting that sector, to assist us in the fulfillment of our goals. For this reason, we only activate the sectors with positive stars ( For period 9, they are stars 9, 1, 8, 4 and 6)
When we Mitigate a sector, we want to lessen the ill effects of a negative energy that may affect us and our family members when a negative star visiting a sector is accidentally activated. For this reason, we do not activate a sector when it is visited by stars 2, 3, 5 and 7.
( *Star 2 remains an illness star when it is visiting a sector for the year and the month but it's negative energy is less. Only the natal star 2 is a positve star for period 9 ~ good property wealth prospects and for gathering followers. However, it will still be beneficial for those with long term debilitating illness to stay away from the sector)
We also mitigate the negative energy when these annual affliction stars are accidentally activated (* if they are not accidentally activated, leave the sector alone.)
The Grand Duke ( Tai-Su) ~ The Lead Animal sign of the year ( for 2024 , it is the Dragon at the SE 1)
The Year Breaker ( Sui Po) ~ The animal sign which clashes with the Grand Duke ( for 2024, it is the Dog at the NW 1)
The 5 yellow ( Annual Calamity star ( for 2024, 5 Yellow is at the North sector)
The 2 Black or Annual Illness Star 2 ( for 2024, 2 Black star is at the West sector)
The 3 Jade Star or Annual Argument star ~ ( for 2024 , it is at the NE sector)
The 3 Killings ( Robbery, Calamity and Annual Sha ) ~ for 2024 , it will be at the South sector and will affect the Snake (robbery), Horse (calamity) and Goat (annual sha)
Wu and Ji Capital Sha - Bad luck and accidents ( for 2024 it will be at the Dragon and Snake sectors ( SE1 and SE3)
