NorthEast Sector~ stars 8 & 5
Hexagram 15~ "Humility"
In Hexagram 15, the image is that of the receptive Earth is placed on top of a Mountain
This shows what Modesty is and how it functions in great and strong men. K’un, the earth, stands above. Lowliness is a quality of the earth: this is the very reason why it appears in this hexagram as exalted, by being placed above the mountain. This shows how modesty functions in lowly, simple people: they are lifted up by it.
The Yellow star 5 visits the Wealth star ( star 8) this month. Although the combination of both stars may at times bring about big, exorbitant wins ( for the gambler), the risks are much too high and often results in big losses. Star 5 is a very unstable energy when not in its home sector. It is better to be modest and avoid taking unnecessary risks to acquire wealth when star 5 is involved. Leave the NE alone and quiet this month. The accident if the sector is activated may be fire-related.
East Sector ~ stars 3 & 9
Hexagram 21~ "Biting Through"
.The image of this hexagram represents an open mouth with an obstruction (in the fourth place) between the teeth. As a result the lips cannot meet.
To bring them together one must bite energetically through the obstacle. Since the hexagram is made up of the trigrams for thunder and for lightning, it indicates how obstacles are forcibly removed in nature.
Energetic 'biting through' overcomes the obstacle that prevents joining of the lips; the storm with its thunder and lightning overcomes the disturbing tension in nature.
The combination of stars 3 and 9 ( wood and fire) brings favorable energies for increased intelligence, promotion in the workplace, and the opportunity to meet and be in the company of creative, clever and brilliant people! This is good for those who wish to excel and stand -out in the work place or in their own social circle. Just be ready to accept the responsibility attached, since star 9 will also show your vulnerabilities and faults.
Southeast Sector~ 4 & 1
Hexagram 48~ "The Well"
.
"The well from which water is drawn conveys the further idea of an inexhaustible dispensing of nourishment.
People may differ in disposition and in education, but the foundations of human nature are the same in everyone. And every human being can draw in the course of his education from the inexhaustible wellspring of the divine in man’s nature."
.
The SE is one of the best sectors to activate this month. its energy is stable to achieve academic excellence and that 'peach blossom' like-ability. Great for students, writers and researchers. It also can enhance one's capacity for the productive acquisition and transfer of knowledge.
South Sector ~ stars 9 & 6
Hexagram 13~ "Fellowship"
"True fellowship among men must be based upon a concern that is universal. It is not the private interests of the individual that create lasting fellowship, but rather the goals of humanity.
That is why it is said that fellowship in the open succeeds. If unity of this kind prevails, even difficult and dangerous tasks, such as crossing the great vast ocean, can be accomplished. But in order to bring about this sort of fellowship, a persevering and enlightened leader is needed—a person with clear, convincing, and inspiring aims and the strength to carry them out."
The energy from the combination of stars 9 and 6 is that of rebellion against authority. The result may bring either chaos or changes for the better, depending on the cause. Over-all this process requires formidable strength and perseverance ( which is exhausting) and willingness to take responsibility for the outcome.
Southwest Sector ~ stars 2 & 8
"Hetu"
Hexagram 23~ "Splitting apart/ Peel"
In Hexagram 23, the mountain rests on the earth. When it is steep and narrow, lacking a broad base, it must topple over.
Its position is strong only when it rises out of the earth broad and great, not proud and steep. So likewise those who rule rest on the broad foundation of their subjects.
They too should be generous and benevolent, like the earth that carries all. Only then will they make their position as secure as a mountain is in its tranquillity.
.
Stars 2 and 8 at the SW form a Sum of ten ( hetu) combination so it will bring favorable results when activated for the acquisition of wealth and its retention for long term. It is also good for those who are seeking work since it can bring opportunities to connect with the right people for work.
However, since star 2's energy can still bring illness, when activating the sector, it is better that you are not suffering from a long term illness since it may prolong and make the illness grave. Always prioritize your health and learn to work smart when you decide to activate the SW this month.
West Sector~ stars 7 & 4
Hexagram 61~ "Inner Truth"
The attributes of the two trigrams are:
~Above- gentleness, forbearance toward inferiors;
~Below- joyousness in obeying superiors.
Such conditions create the basis of a mutual confidence that makes achievements possible.
Wind stirs water by penetrating it. Thus the superior man, when obliged to judge the mistakes of men, tries to penetrate their minds with understanding, in order to gain a sympathetic appreciation of the circumstances.
The combination of stars 4 and 7 at the West renders one the energy to talk too much. This may be good for those who plan to travel, (since traveling opens one's mind to new and exciting experiences)
Otherwise better watch what you convey to others or you may lose their confidence and interest if what your say is not essential or meaningful to them.
Northwest Sector ~ stars 6 & 3
Hexagram 34 ~ "Great Strength"
Hexagram 34 has the arousing thunder as the upper trigram and the creative Heaven on the lower trigram~
Thunder—electrical energy—mounts upward in the spring. The direction of this movement is in harmony with that of the movement of heaven. It is therefore a movement in accord with heaven, producing great power.
However, true greatness depends on being in harmony with what is right. Therefore in times of great power the superior person avoids doing anything that is not in harmony with the established order.
The energy at the NW this month may cause a power struggle; an energy that portends defiance of authority. It is better to keep watch of one's temper in order not to be involved in arguments if you have to use the NW sector often this month.
~To unite with others, and through that union to complement and help one another.
~To form that union around a central respected person.
~To recognize the responsibility held by the central figure and the need for tremendous spirit, consistency, and strength.
~To have the humility not to take on the responsibility of guiding unless one is truly equal to the undertaking.
~To recognize the risk of chaos if a poor leader is chosen.
~To understand the importance of timing, for while a strong union attracts the uncommitted, newcomers lack the shared experiences that bond others.
~To understand that the strength of the union depends on the purpose and meaning each of the members find in the union.
Now is that time. ~ Christian I-Ching
